See the Hints That Might Prove The Sims 4: Seasons Is In Production
While the Sims team might pretend like they play it close to the chest, this is just not true. Time and time again, they have offered up clues to what future projects might be coming up soon. It is no different with The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs. It just might be littered with plenty of hints for Seasons. See if any of these clues seem suspicious to you.
The Sims team likes to pretend they never give hints on upcoming games, but we all know that is very hard for them to deny. Whether it’s adding a City Skyline T-shirt in Backyard Stuff prior to the release City Living, or adding a “Paw Print” Jacket and Veterinary hint with The Sims 4 Parenthood Game Pack, the hints were right in our face.
If you haven’t been paying attention to their most recent hints in The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion, you’re either enjoying the game too much, or relying on us to bring you the news. 😉 Well, let us show you why we think Seasons is the next Expansion.
What Happens To Strays Left Out in The Cold?
If there’s any indication that Gurus have already thought about what will happen to stray pets when they are left out in the cold, SimGuruDaniel made sure to let us know…
Have you placed the new “calendar” objects in game yet? They come in four different color varieties that show off all four seasons…
Have you noticed the environment of Brindleton Bay? Gorgeous autumnal trees selectively placed around the world to give it that warm feel…raincoat wearing fisherman on the docks…it’s all so seasonally themed don’t you agree?
Winterfest & IceBox Fever?
If you’ve played the Veterinary Career long enough to diagnose more than a few pets, you may have noticed names that just scream seasons! If you haven’t got that far yet, let us show you some of the different illnesses and symptoms pets can have…
• Winterfest Fever
• Icey Fur
• Icebox Fever
• Frozen Mange
• Tundra Hide
• Frosty Fur Flu
Create-a-Sim Stencil Options
Looking to add some seasonal fun to your pets? With the available stencils in Create-a-Pet you can add blowing leaves, falling leaves, raindrops, and spring flowers to your pets. Could this be coincidental? Perhaps, but it’s definitely seasonal-ish.
Create-a-Sim & Create-a-Pet Clothing
Sims and pets have a variety of clothing options in the new expansion pack, including some that are related to weather. For starters, Cats received a snowflake covered sweater, Dogs can wear a “warm” hunter’s hat, and Adult Male Sims have a sweater covered in leaves.
Object Descriptions & Tree Additions
As we mentioned earlier, developers tend to leave subtle hints within object descriptions too. In The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion there are a few objects with a seasonal theme.
In addition to that, they have also added new trees to the game that have an autumnal feeling to them almost as if they are “transitioning” into a new season.
As you can see, there is plenty to suggest a seasonal type pack is in the works. Have you found anything in the Cats & Dogs Expansion that suggests seasons is coming? Let us know in the comments below!
