Four Things you Definitely Need to Try in the Sims 4
Oh the joys of embarking upon the journey that is the Sims 4 for the first time. For a lot of people, the initial experience is more than enough to bide them over a year at the very least. However, there is a point in the gameplay where it becomes a little tedious. If you have been playing the Sims 4 continuously for a while, you can begin to see a sense of repetition in the gameplay.
It is the same grind every single day. The world of the Sims is one which is jam-packed with fun things to see and do. You need to make sure your imagination is in working order if you hope to get the most out of the experience, especially with the all-new expansion pack, Get Together. Here are 4 things in the original Sims 4 game that you simply have to try to ease the boredom for a while and get your experience back where it belongs.
#1: Explore the Forgotten Grotto
OOOOH. Sounds spooky, does it not? Well, it really isn’t. Think more along the lines of magical underwater area. This is a very secret location, and you need to have a sim with a level 10 handiness skill to get to it. All you need to do is make sure your sim is well-versed in being handy, then go over to the Desert Bloom Park. There is a closed Mine Shaft door in the area that beckons to the adventurer in you. Open it and explore the depths of the Forgotten Grotto!
#2: Kill a Sim
The act of murder is one that is frowned upon even in the world of the Sims, but sometimes the neighbors just get on your nerves. Something has to be done about how annoying they are! Well, short of packing up and moving house, there is something else you can do to get rid of them. Entice them to come to your lawn, and then build a 1×1 fence around them. You will basically be starving them to death. It isn’t the best way to go, but it is definitely the least messy. Delete the fence and the tombstone when the deed is done and try not to scroll to the empty house later.
#3: Build the house of your dreams
Everyone in the world has big dreams. We all want to be rich and famous and live like the celebrities of today do. Well, why not experience this in the world of the Sims 4? All you need to do is earn enough money to be able to build your very own sprawling mansion in the hills. With the right kind of playing and a couple of years of hard work (in sim time, not real time) you should have the mansion Will Smith would be jealous of.
Cheating in The Sims is a hallowed tradition. At some point in the game, you will type in a cheat code. It doesn’t even have to be for getting ahead in the game. It could just be so that you can explore the best that the game has to offer. EA doesn’t judge you. Look up cheat codes and use them to add a little zest to the gameplay! Press CTRL+SHIFT+C to open the console up and start typing. Don’t know any cheats yet? Check out our Sims 4 Cheats Guide.
There is a whole world out there for you to explore. Make sure you make the most of it. Do not hesitate to use any means necessary (even murder in moderation) to get your sims where you want them to be!
