Dream Homes in The Sims 4
Love your home and it will love you back! The new build mode in The Sims 4 is a dream of a (virtual) home come true.
It’s spreading through the neighborhood. The Miller’s house – a villa with a pool, a mansard roof and columns made out of marble. Pretty, really pretty. And it was built quickly! There again: out of nowhere, a spiral staircase becomes a loft house.
The Millers are, in fact, two Sims made by Maxis developers. In San Francisco, they showed off the build mode of the upcoming fall 2014 game – The Sims 4. The philosophy is simple: “The client always wins!” In Germany, they are considered friends, as the build mode is nowhere as popular as it is in [Germany]. And it was never this easy to create a home!
UPDATE: ComputerBild has since the publishing removed the word pool from the sentence and only kept ‘mansard roof and columns made out of marble’. However, don’t be quick to dismiss this information, as this has happened in past where mediaoutlets have been forced to withdraw information due to publishing them before the embargo is up.
Our sources tell us that embargo will be lifted on June 10th (EA’s conference is on June 9th), which is when all magazines will start publishing articles and sharing information. Further confirmation of this date is the fact that Swedish gaming media outlet, Fz, has revealed that they’ll release insightful impressions of the game as well as the official release date for The Sims 4 on the same date.
