Can Your System Run The Sims 3?
I recently got a new system, and even though I am confident in my decision to purchase it, I just had to check these few sites out. There are many websites out there that will give you the specs needed to run your game, but these two actually ran the test.
This first one is from yougamers.com, you will have to give permission for their system to access yours. It’s okay, they don’t collect anything from you, they aren’t spyware. Here is the result I got after checking my system to run The Sims 3, this checks for just the base game compatibility of your system. You can test your system at: http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10302
The second one is from simprograms. Not only do they offer to run a test, but you also can scan to see which of the ep’s/sp’s or just base game you want a test run on. Plus they also give you the whole run down on the system requirements to run The Sims 3. Check it out! http://www.simprograms.com/the-sims/the-sims-3/the-sims-3-system-requirements/
Plus I was given this link from another simmer. If you know what your system has, but don’t want to go to either of the sites I mentioned, or others, to have a test run, MTS has a run down on all (at least most of them) graphics cards out there. Check to see if yours is on the list and see if it falls under the NO, MAYBE, OR YES. http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements (the picture does not represent anyone’s graphics card, it is just a random screen shot for show)
